The message stresses two misunderstood essentials in Freemasonry:
- Thinking Outside the Box – Forget the “That won’t work, we’ve never done that before” attitude – Without progression, we’d still be meeting by candle light and drawing with chalk on the floor of a tavern in secrecy.
- The NEED for support – “The Best Support any Grand Lodge can give to any Canadian Armed Force is to ensure we never deploy anywhere in the world again without the privilege of being able to meet in a Military Lodge” !!!
I think you meant deploy, not employ, when you said, "The Best Support any Grand Lodge can give to any Canadian Armed Force is to ensure we never employ anywhere in the world again without the privilege of being able to meet in a Military Lodge"

excellent….. I totally agree that the masonic body as a whole should reach out to all military…. promote betterment… and brotherhood. Make our "good" men in the military "better" men…. your speech was awesome!
