  1. Fraternal Greetings Brethren! My name is Brother Charles Harper from Kankakee Lodge no. 389, Kankakee, Illinois, under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Illinois. I made it to Junior Warden in 2012, but as I am moving north closer to Chicago, Illinois, I did not proceed through the chairs. I am currently a staff writer for living stones magazine, found at http://www.livingstonesmagazine.com. It is a magazine for Freemasons. I hope to enjoy meeting Brethren here as I love to talk Masonic philosophy.

Fraternal Greetings from Clarksville, TN. My name is Brother Steve Slater and I am the Secretary of Queen City Lodge No. 761, under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Tennessee. I am also an active member of the Lodge Education Committee and Chairmain of the Public Relations Committee. The latter making every attempt to bring an ancient fraternity into the 21st Century through technology. I am an information hound and as such I am also current webmaster of our Lodge website found at http://www.queencitylodge.org as well as our Facebook Page and Twitter Account. Education is a "lost word" in Masonry but there are several members at our Lodge that attempt to keep it alive through education small talks at our stated meetings and a monthly open education discussion. I will recommend this website to several select members that I feel will benefit from it and move beyond the typical "history of freemasonry" (albeit important to know) to more of the philisophical meaning behind the multitude of subjects that one can research. I look forward to meeting you all!

I also belong to the Alabama Lodge of Research and the Philalethes Society. I look forward to sharing thoughts about our Craft with everyone. I am currently in graduate school at the University of Mississippi.
